    Default VL aircon evaporator leaking

    Hi guys

Anyone know where the aircon evaporator sits and where the drainage pipe sits ?
Everytime I turn on the aircon it leaks into the passenger side footwell. I assume that the drain pipe is blocked as it seems to be still gassed up OK.
    Appreciate any info.

There should be a hose about as thick as your finger that comes out of the firewall on the passenger side near the exhaust.

had a bit more of a think about it ,under the glovebox there is like a heater box thing ,pull back the carpet, and on the rh side,of the box there is a drain hose disconecet, this and be ready for water to pour out, have something to catch the water ,the reason to pull the moter out is ,because it may be full of water too.

There's also an 0-ring seal down there from memory. Went on my VL years ago and got it replaced

    Thanks gungazza

I found the outlet OK. Problem was dried up dirt & stuff at top of casing outlet. Broke it all up & applied strong vacuum cleaner. Gave outlet hose a clean and hope all is well.
