Default VN Diff In VL Commo

Now i know there is a few threads on this but i wanted to run a fresh thread on this topic, and my application.

Right i can get my hands on a VN 28 Spline LSD Disk to Disk diff setup free from a mate.
Now i know this is slightly wider but should not make a difference with my 225's should it?
is it a straight bolt in...
Do i need to get another tailshaft?
I know i need to adjust the handbrake cable
I know the Ratio is slightly Lower 3.08 apposed to VL 3.45, is it noticeable off the line and so on.
Also i can get the 1" Master Cylinder from the car as well as i will be losing the drums and having Disk to Disk rear end.

Vl Turbo ones are getting hard to find.

    Thanks heaps guys
    Nath

I'm pretty sure you can swap the centres over providing your VL is 28 spline too. The backing plates from the disc setup will bolt onto the VL housing too. Someone else on here did the same conversion. The VL disc rear had the 1" master too so using that is a must.
