inside the vl calais door

hello all,im trying to fit solex locks to my vl calais,got the trim off,got the handles off and speakers out no dramas,but theres a plate with one screw between me and the original key barrel that i need to remove,i took the screw out but the plate won't budge,any help would be greatly apreciated

thats the anti-theft plate. You will need to lift the black strip that sits on the outside of the door under the window on the top of the door. I hope that makes sense?

if you wind the window down & look down the gap from the top you will see (2 or 3 cant remember) little tabs that sit over the door sill under the black bit I mentioned before. Just lift the black bit & then lift the plate up & free of the door.
