ATF fluid

Hi,
I got some ATF fluid for a full fluid change,filter and tourqe conveter flush and i dont know if it is the right fluid! I have a 87 VL 3.0L Auto,EFI non turbo and the fluid i have is called Shell DONNAX.
I havent put the fluid in yet because i wasnt sure if it would do damage. Or is TQ95 better to put in?
Any input guys.....

Ranga,
if is dextron 3 mate it is the right fluid, same as your power steering fluid.
i am pretty sure that is the only auto fluid you use for these.

Yeah thanx 4 dat but i dont know if this DONNAX stuff is DEXRON or not!

just look on the back of the bottle and see what it says. normally says it exceeds dexron III or IV etc.
