Walkinshaws on drum Brakes. HELP!

Hey all,

Tried to fit walkinshaws on to the back of my VL, its a NA6 so has Drum brakes at the moment, when i put them on, the studs are too short to get a nut on to so i know i need to put longer studs on, but ive been told that i have to use spacers to push the rim out just a couple of mm off the drum??

anyone had this issue i need some urgent advice

If the studs are too short now, why fit a spacer? All it will do is move the rim away from the drum as you have said, it won't make the studs any longer.

Go and buy longer studs.
