Hello. So i bought my VL calais a while back and its got a RB20de in it (I think im 99% sure). Anyway the car runs good but there is two hoses that arent going anywhere from the manifold. On a related note a I cant change where my air blows. Like from blowing at face to the windscreen. Help please.
maybe it'd be better to look on skyline forums or something and see what they'd go to in a skyline. unless someone from nz can help you since vl 2.0 litres came out over there.
This is good site to watch.I found it informative as I have been researching a lot lately on such matters such as you talk about.
Yeah thats a good idea. I tried here first because its in a VL.
Does anyone know where the vents vacuum hose comes out into the engine bay?
pretty strange that someone put a 2l N/A in a VL..

Yeah the guy I got it off said he replaced it from the gutless destroked RB30 to the RB20. I asked why he didnt go the RB25 but he didnt know much about cars and thought the RB20 was a 2.4lt . So there's the answer.
I found out from the skyline forums that the one under the throttle body goes to the carbon cansiter but still waiting on the other one
gutless rb30 lol. Had more than the rb20 imo. Put a 30 back in and turbs it.
The last hose was a vaccume in the end.
