The missus was looking on ebay tonight and noticed a guy selling a VL and stating that is was a SSV VL?? Is there such a thing as a SSV? or is that just the name of a company that does body kits and what not??

any answers will be appreciated!!

i know that ssv bought a few vls from holden and put the body kit parts on them then put their stickers on and then sold them for more money i know that ssv buys all sorts of cars but look at the way most car companies work they put a couple of different parts on a car then put badges or stickers on and then sell them for more
look at the ve hsv clubsport r8 a few differences and badges then they triple the price

I agree there are to many people on ebay trying to sell RARE items that just are not rare I see shitboxes like that (without the ssv sticker) all the time and I think good on her for pointing out the obvious and I feel sorry for the young guy who buys it thinking they have got something special.
LMFAO it is at $501.00 and reserve is not met yet so what do you rekon the reserve is $5000.00?

oh and stealthy I have plenty to do with my time thank you very much. I love my VL's as much as what nackerz does but have only just really started learning about them since being with him so all I was wanting to know was if there was such a thing. Obviously there are people out there who agree with what I have done and I only put up the emails exhanged between me and the seller as an interest for other people who where commenting on this post or who will read it. There is nothing wrong with that.

Jatsvl - I wouldn't have a clue what his reserve would be but i think he would be the type of seller that would tell you if you asked. I obviously can't ask coz I had a go at him on ebay, surprised I didn't get a warning from ebay.
