Hi guys, I know this is a common problem, but in the morning due to the harsh dew (no pun intended) theres always water particles on the bootlid inside the boot, and a pool of water on the floor, which caused me to remove the carpet until i can fix it. im quite sure it's not due to the rain we've had, but rather the moisture overnight, any ideas on how i could stop this if at all?
cheers
if you are sure it is condensation, then it would have to be your boot seal is not sealing and allowing the moist air in, you may have to jump in the boot and close the lid (make sure you are able to open it from inside or have a mate help you) and check if there is light getting in, also have a torch with you so you can look at the way the seal is with the boot shut. goodluck. also the condensation building up on the roof and rear windscreen maybe running down into the boot.
Nobody wants to play with me
Also do that but try getting a hose and seeing if it leaks while your in it
had the same problem with mine and it is a common problem take off the boot seal and check for rust underneath mine had a couple holes there just sprayed it with rust converter and then kill rust primer and patched the holes with steel putty as a temporary repair til i can get the channel replaced
