    Default VL intermediate shaft...?

    Hey guys does anyone in Melb or the ballarat area have an intermediate shaft from a VL they could sell me? Need one asap.. Cheers.

    have lots of parts in bendigo but have not encountered a intermediate shaft before, what is it? might have one if i knew what it was.

    Device which is set in motion by the driving shaft of a transmission and which transmits this motion to the driven shaft. An intermediate shaft can either be arranged parallel to the driving and driven shafts, or it can form a line shafting with them

    Cheers guys. In this case its the shaft which connects from the steering column to the steering rack. In the VL they were a bit longer and its the best (i think only) thing you can use to make a VC/B/H ect older commy column, compatible with a later model rack. In my case a VN rack and K frame in the VH.. needs a VL intermediate steering shaft.. Cheers.

    I believe either manual or power steering is fine for the job.
