What colour looks good on a VL Calais? Pics please
Well im nearly at the stage where im ready to paint and i have that really hard decsion.
What color to paint?
What colors should be avoided on the VL and what looks good? Post up pics of your favorite please?

I think you need to choose the colour yourself, considering the bottom of the car is going to be silver YOU need a colour that is going to best suit YOU and given the choice I would choose a modern colour that will no doubt be UNIQUE to a VL calais, because the most common colours back in '86-'88 were burgundy, blue, fawn (tan/gold) and white. so as I am aware YOU have a HARD choice to make.

A nice glossy black or a dark orange is my pick.
Well in first place is a nice superman blue to match the bluey green interior but black is always nice or a light / dark grey.
Purple was on the cards but...

This was my old VL, All Black with the Gold Simmons looked nice
Personally, I love the black, in the end though it comes down to what your taste is and what suits you best.

yeah mate sensut orange its darker in that pic.. you jsut ask to haev it darken by three stages.. its the same colour im going for mine if it ever goes back on the road lol...another one is the ve blue with silver that would look hot
