    Default Surge tank Help

    Started my surge tank install heres a pic



    Only question i have is??

    the bottom fitting on surge tank goes to my 044 pump.

    Which goes where on the other three??

    the very top one will be the return to ya fuel tank, with the other 2 i would guess the one just above the 044 outlet would be return from the fuel rail and the one up top would be the inlet from the fuel tank

    so on the top is overflow (return to tank)

    The one on the top at front would be inlet

    One above the 044 at bottom would be return from rail

    This is what your saying yeah mate?

    Are you 100%

    hes close enough its funny it has one extra so far down near the pump inlet one normally all near the top bar the pump nipple hose it up as above and she will be fine

    she will be fine you could put the return from the fuel rail into the top so it keeps the hot fuel away from the pump intake

    from top to bottom i'd say:
    1, to fuel tank return
    2, from engine fuel return
    3,from fuel tank feed
    3, to 044 pump

    this way, your surge tank will fill a lot quicker on first startup and you wont have to pre fill it or keep priming it with the 044 dry. plus, if you use a lot of fuel in one burst, the fuel from tank is constantly reimbursing the 044 with less space for any chance of it running dry. (i hope this makes sense.
    This is good site to watch.I found it informative as I have been researching a lot lately on such matters such as you talk about.

    all from top to bottom... 1st return to tank (overflow) second fuel rail return..third from surge to fuel rail,,third from tank tat how my mates was set up in his s13 now he is gone with a a simpler one with out the over flow...but other then that give some performance shops a ring and see what they say
