Just curious....
In order to fit some decent fats under the old girl (ie: 15x8.5 chasers on some sutible tyres)
could i get away with just rolling the guards or do i need to mini tubb my VL??:hmmm
you can roll the gaurds youll be right mine was lwered wit 565 undfer teh ass jsut run a lower profile tyre
i think he means 265's lol.lower profile on a 15 would defeat the purpose wouldnt it and would think 265s would still rub over the smallest bumps
Ha wow, thats a fair bit of rubber. Well it's on the 15x7 chasers with 225/60 tyres, lowered 2.5" all round... it doesn't rub though.
The rims would look like poop with lower profile tyres, they look the best with some chunky rubber. I was thinking 15x8.5 with maybe 235/60 or 245/60.
235 and 245 will fit easy we had 255/60/15's on for the drags might of even been 65's fitted on lowered car piece of piss
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
yeah 245s would be just nice
So i could fit them on with just rolling the gards then. I guess i would be needing an engineers cert as i think you can legally only go one inch bigger than what the model rolled out of the factory with yeh?
i dont follow lol?did your comie come with 13 inch rims?
Oh umm, they came out with what like 14x6 steels and the SL and bbrlina and 15x6 on the calais, i'm not sure what the go is with the diametre but i was under the impression the width could only go up another inch without requiring a cert. I don't know ha i'm new to this whole forum thing. go easy haha
lol yeah just messing around.you wont need a cirt to go to 15s
What about to take them to 8.5 inches wide though?
Or do you boys not worry about that sort of thing??![]()
yeah 265 sorry and they never scrubbed the sat nicely
