    Question pod filters?

I know they're only like $20 at repco and all of those type stores, but:
    are they better?
is it easy to change from the stock air box?
    is it worth the $20?

    thanks.

Don't bother. Better off spending $20 more and getting a high flow panel filter.

Figured out that there's K&N panel filters from Supercheap for $110,
but there's about 100 different types!
does anybody know the serial number type thing for the filter? eg: one of them is KN33-2015?
Just so I can add this to the 'to-do list'

basically one that fits a VL,VN,VR,VS,VP etc all the same,,
just ask the noob behind the desk, to find it in the computer.
i have had one for about 8 years now, clean it (K&N Recharge Kit) every so often and re-oil it, Crazy what crap comes out of it and looks like new afterwards(Pink again)
Its a quality filter man gaurenteed 1,000,000 Kms.
Its not a disposible Paper one what has poor airflow through the material, the material is a highflow superfine weave that catches everything, i got mine for $80 on ebay
    Goodluck

Cotton flows less air then paper. It's just because cotton can be re-cleaned is the reason it's so popular. In all honesty just go a Drift brand filter. Cheaper then K&N and you will not notice a difference between the 2.
