Car is still missing and cutting out after warm.

Coil resistance is 1.6ohms on the 12 volt side (primary coil) and 9000ohms on the high tension/voltage side ( secondary side). Workshop manual says primary should be 1ohms. Secondary is within spec. Have four coils and the best is 1.4ohms on the primary side - so what's that deal?????? Maybe new one is less than 1ohm, as stated in workshop manual????????? - If someone knows or can measure much appreciated.

I left the lead on no 2 spark plug. I ran an extra high voltage (HV) lead from number 2 on the dizzy. I set it up so I have a 10mm gap between the two. I used the plastic holders on the front of the tappet cover to hold each lead. I can watch the spark jump between the gap between the leads and still run on all 6 cylinders.

NEED AN EXPERT HERE - I watch the spark as the engine is cutting out. The spark stops. I crank the engine and the spark is not there. When it appears the engine starts.

QUESTION - Can you see a spark by just cranking the engine. Mine engine starts and so does the spark. I can tell if the spark appears when engine is on or whether the spark works and then engine starts.

ANOTHER QUESTION - where can I get the specs for a new bearing for the dizzy and/or where can I get just the bearing????
