hey guys,
found this on ebay (i know that sounds bad) but the actual store it is from is near where I live.. so it is a single 2.5 inch mandrel bent sports exhaust for $165. i have a N/A VL, just wanted a nice sound that isnt gonna make me sound like another douche driving through Ipswich lol.. if i got some good extractors, would this give an alright sound and a bit of power?
if anyones got this i wanna hear how it is.. also, what else will i need for the complete system?
thanks for any help (Y)
link to exhaust please?

dont know really man.. i had a 2.5 redback system on mine b4 i upgraded to turbo and it was a nice note... but on the motorways it was a droning annoying sound. really depends what u like,,
should give u small power gains as the Engine can breathe better Extracors would help and u can pick them up quite cheap now.
Goodluck
Wait for other ppls Responses to gauge on what u like.

Any experience jonno? It sounds like a pretty good deal, might be able to afford better extractors with the money saved.
is 2.5" an alright size for a pretty stock car?

Personally I think that size exhaust is too big for your stock car.
My brother had an exhaust like that on his VL and whilst it did sound good, it was far too loud and droney...get something with a rear muffler and not a straight pipe.
