VL RB30 Turbo

Hi guys, just picked up a VL RB30 Turbo with a supra gearbox and a few other tricks.

Never owned a VL Turbo, closest i had was an imported honda legend 6 cylinder turbo.

My question is:

What should i be having a closer look at in the car. Be it under the bonnet or body wise. Not looking for anything particular, just any common faults, rust spots, dodgy parts etc that you guys might be aware of on the VL.

Rust, check under and above both windscreens and boot canel. What turbo, injectors, ecu and all that crap is it running? Your best off getting it thrown on a dyno too make sure air/fuel ratios are safe if you have no idea about these things... Get on calaisturbo.com.au - Powered by vBulletin and hit the search button...
