alright im not sure weather my air con just needs re gasing or what the hell it is!

the heater and the cooler work!
just the fan doesnt work.....

like it did work at one stage.. and it was taking 5 minutes or so to start blowing but now there is nothing!
also... like i can hear a kinda gas like noise when i turn it on...
but umm... i did leave it on for a few days and didnt realise.. i think thats when it became F#@$@D

any help would be good....

its cold but just the fan doesn't work, maybe the switch is buggered?..

my heater works, cooler doesn't need to get it converted to the new gas. Fan does play up...Have the vertical dial things down...turn on the fan, then push the dial thing up. If that doesn't work try the other way fan off, dials onto watever then click your fan over to about 3 and see if the fan is actually working. Got me confused too. Hope this helps

umm. but whats the purpose of re-gasing?? like does the gas have anything to do with the fan going or is it to do with hot cold??

Just the cold bit for gas. Fairly sure heat comes entirely off the coolant from the motor. And the fan should just be electrical.

I dont think a regas would fix that, if you can hear the gas sound when you turn the ac on, but the fan isnt pushing it out, then it sounds like you need a new blower motor, or something around that, mainly, JUST BE MORE CONCERNED WITH THE FAN/BLOWER RATHER THAN THE AC!

next question!! where the hell is it? im led to believe that its like in the dash in front of the passengers seats =\ god im sick of pulling the plastic's apart cause everytime i do it i have to attack tha farking car with super glue to fix all the brittle sh!t up after!!

the plastics under the fan shouldnt be too much hassle to pull out. alot of the time shit falls from the back of the glovebox into the fan and jams it. i had a bunch of drinking straws in the glovy (dont ask....) and most of them fell into the fan at some stage. was a very interesting noise to say the least....

That could explain y mine was making that noise, sounded like as if it was straws too...hmmm, interesting.

as far as i could understand its not just that one little panel is it??
cause it looked as if it was right in there!!
i might have to have another look!

what exactly are you going to look at now? ive become a little lost....
if you just wanna get to the fan, pull off the panel under the glovebox, its 2 or 3 plastic screws. then i think there are only a couple of bolts holding the fan unit in. once you see it youll know what your doing. checking connections etc as you go will be helpful too.

is it that black looking thing that sort of stick out?? like it stick through the bottom of the footpanel things?

I'd think it'd be the switch before the connections on the fan.

after pulling the dash apart 234290 times and breaking each plastic clip and peice where screws go in 4 times! i managed to follow the wires and work out wat tha fark was going on!!!
i got a live wire and went along every little bit and hooked a live wire up to see if the fan would work there...

found my self once again at relay's and fuse box!
well..... i pulled it all apart n the fan went on wen i was screwing around a few times...

found out that the little bit where the relay plugs in the wire had been pushed down in the back of it so it wasnt touching all the time!! Grrr.......
fixed it and im set now, but i think i have messed up the controls of where what vents are ment to be open!! oooopppss
