Default Quick question about installing an exhaust system

Hey guys, just wondering how hard it would be to bolt on a 2.5" mendrel bent exhaust to my VL? It should go straight on as far as I know, but i dont want to pay the guy in the exhaust shop some ridiculous amount to install it if i can do it. How hard to you reckon it would be?

    opinions?

it's not really that hard, but if there is a problem like the exhaust doesn't fit properly then the guy at the exhaust shop would be able to heat and bend or adjust it so it does fit and doesn't knock or resinate/vibrate through the car.
you get a warranty on workmanship so if it moves in a day/week or month you can go back and have it adjusted free.
Nobody wants to play with me

and remember to allow for broken studs its a common problem so be real gentle as well if you decide to do it yourself

As above on the studs.... Soak them with Penetrine.. like INOX/Wd40 a few days b4 hand and keep doing it so like 4 days b4 u do it start to hit em with it.
Then the next day and so on.
I used INOX on mine for 2 Rb30's with this process and did not snap any of the 24 Studs on both Engines...

Carefull if the Exhaust is too hot when u spray it on... Wait till it cools, Common Sense Really

sweet, ill keep that in mind. I was told that car will need to be really quite high off the ground, im guessing axle stands definatey wont be high enough. So ill need to find a hoist to do it all?

ive done it off axle stands before and am about to do it again later this week i found the easiest way to get the old pipes out from around the axle is to just cut the shit out of it with the grinder also makes it easy to get rid of
