10g should get you a freshly rebuilt vlt motor/ gearbox brake upgrades, management and turbo. And might still have some cash leftover to tidy other bits up.

How much do you want out of it, whats your goal.

Didn't think you could run extractors with a turbo! We were discussing it at Tafe awhile back, and it seemed like no overuled, why's that?

You can run extractors and a turbo they have to be custom made of course (usually from steampipe bends) but they can add KW just like they do on an NA. I have seen some beautiful Nismo polished tuned length, titanium extractors for skylines. mmmmmm delicious

So, go and buy a block. Take it to an engine builder, tell him to freshen up the bottom end, replace the pistons etc, new rings, balanced. Bla bla bla. Get the head redone and ported and freshened up, bolt the head onto the bottom end. Track yourself down either a stock turbo exhaust manifold.. 2-300. or Get yourself a custom high mount/ low mount setup <1000 dollars. Then you want an aftermarket plenum, around 1000. Then you want A decent turbo .. 2000. Fuel System- Probably an understatement, but 1500. A cheapo cooler for now. 300. Piping ?? Exhaust, 700-900 with custom dump pipe, hiflow cat and muffler.

Aftermarket management, cheap stuff, 1000. Tuned.. more $$$$

Then you'll have awesome running gear, but you'll be missing a nice car to put it in, good brakes to stop it with, an awesome gearbox to cope with the power and help put it down correctly. And if its not turbo already, you'd end up with snapped axles if you wanted an LSD or minispool

Which adds up too your 10 pretty quickly.

not sure bout this, but if you got that sort of budget, could you bore out the cylinders? thatd be a nice custom/unique mod i rekon.

It means you take the engine apart and you bore out the cylinders. lol. It's not really a unique mod.

hrrrm sounds like its gunna be alot of fun .... i am actually now in 2 minds between a walky kit, a standard calais kit( a 2tone colour midnight blue and pearl black orsomething), i like the walky(chunk a chunk) kit but if i just got the calais kit it would be more of a sleeper... i am also if i get the walky kit it will be pearl black with gold badges...so many decisions..and thats not even talkin about the engine yet it gunna be a long project but hopefully will be done by summer nats next year
