best rims on vl??

followed by VY SS 18s...



then id say VT GTS...

ok. personally i think the simmons fr18's/19's look terrible on vl's like i know there a very high profile type rim but i dont like them!
vt ss i think are the worst rims ever brought out by holden (reallly sorry dude) just my opinion and im a loansome young child so it wont hurt! lol
those rims on the rajab car are pretty farkin tuff!! they remind me of those rims made by momo there high profile too... i wil put a pic up in a sec
vt gts... i dunno what the fuss is about!! they look pretty damn basic to me but yeh.. its only me once again!

the walky has the momo rims! im pretty sure there momo! there really old school looking i recon! i havent seen a pair of chromed ones as yet! but i recon that they would be tuff!!

those rims are the MOMO Magnums. 20X9"... the black twin turbo walkinshaw 'HSVSS' wears them... chromed too.. theyre not bad.

you say youre young, so ill assume thats why you like really flashy rims. try getting pulled over every 20 minutes on a friday night, and you'll realise the simpler the better...... but thats just MY opinion...

i obviously like th flashy rims as i do like to be noticed!
there arnt exactly many show cars that dont have chromed rims.... get my drift??
there chromed cause it looks good, and id ruther look at my car n be happy with its looks ruther then have second thoughts in the back of my head and 'be happy cause cops dont pull me over' plus i live near cobram! lol. every seconds car there is either a rx7 a skyling, theres about 7 of those boss ford things umm..... 3 other rotarys in old mazda's umm.... some xr8 older models etc etc..... and many commodores that are gunna be picked up before mine!!

the population of the town is onle 3000 i swear there is tooo much money for individuals in it so my car looks like "POO" with chrome rims or none chromed rims over there.....

is there any others out there? is there any old school looking rims?? theres like chasers but there not old school... they do look abit! there like any rims that are big "tubbed" types?? i think thats the word.... oooh well! theres the vt internationals! they look pretty tuff!! but there becoming like the vy! as soon as they were on the cover of.. umm i think the "street commodore" magazine about 7 months ago i noticed them everywhere!!

on another note!!
ummm im not sure if its only the calais extra!! but theres the strip below the doors i think its usually black unless its on the walkys which it is covered!!

i have never really noticed it untill i look hard! do you prefer them black or silver?
or in executive's body colour?

These are the rims on mine, I think they are VT internationals? not too sure, but theyre replicas, which saved me a shit load.
Also, im selling the tyres to these rims. I got new rubber put on today. My friend works for pirrelli and got them for me for nothing.
The rubber im selling are four Ventus 17' x235's. 3 of them have about 70% tread, and one has about 60%..guess which one! They just passed rego and are in good condition. Make an offer..

arnt they vt gts? =\ oooh i dunno.... im sure there not the internationals!! yeh deep dish is the one!! i have never seen them on vl's like i seen them on the hq utes and that!! but never seen on vl... maybe stud patterns different? or no?

I have to agree... the VX GTS rims are sexy, as are the ROH Fury rims, but they suit different types of VLs. The VX rims are better for a straight VL and the ROH rims are nice on a VL with a bodykit such as the Walky one - having said that though, I don't like the full Walky kit - leave out the spoiler and the bonnet scoop (unless there's something under it).

Hehe, screw rims... no-one's mentioned the series 1 VN Exec hubcaps! What a sexy choice they are. You don't see them round much these days though so I'm guessing they'd be going for at least 2-3k on eBay!

Mine are the same as ryan_vl but only in 16" and think they're genuine, what sorta caps go into the wheels for these cuz some c**t flogged mine
