    Hi Peeps.. Just bourght my first car.. a VL Commodore.. And yes im only 15 :P

    My mum owns a shit box Hyundai so driving that hard as crap due to im 6'5"..
    lol.. Been driving since im 8.. And helped dad out in trips last year in road train.. lol hopefully no one here is a cop.. Anyways just asking does anyone know how much a VL Cruise control is?

    And if so where could i find one cheap.. Ow yer i got my VL Executive for $1200.. With perfect conditioning.. With only 89,000 kms on it.. Steal or what.. Wahhahhahaa.. The guy had an injury 3 years back and cant drive and tried to get back behind wheel.. But couldnt .. And i got him!!

    well thanks for the life story! it was incredible.
    to answer a couple of your rambling questions....

    -yes there are cops in here.
    -cruise kits can be found under $200 (self install) from a number of places, supercheap, even autobarn had some cheapos. have a look on ebay. everything on there!

    Yeah I saw that Autobarn had a special on them the type of switch as the VL Lights have, but goes out of the left of the steering column. They looked pretty good aswell

    heh..it's ok, we often get life stories...just usually don't find them in the same posts about cuise controls....

    Sorry to get back on the topic of cruise control, but what can actually go wrong with the cruise controls on a vl, my mate has the wiring and the switch to the right of the sterring wheel, but it don't work, just curious!

    yeah mate the smash. i teach the drivers siblings. i hear he is in ok shape though. considering. i agree with soldier on.... that used to be on an ad... i wish i could remember it.... i have the tune in my head but its real hard to type a tune...

    Yeah, didn't the driver too well. Met him a couple of times but thats about it. I'm off for 3 months.

    Soldier on, yes soldier on soldier. With Coldral you can soldier on!

    if you get cruise control get the magnet operated ones not a cable operated as the cable can snap and you'll be stuck doing 120 through the scrub.

    Why on earth would you be doing 120 in the scrub...and why would you be using cruise control if you were doing it?

    I meant that you'll end up in the scrub when you go off the road cos you can't slow down for a corner.

    And that is why cars are fitted with the magical "acessory" commonly known as brakes!

    ....did you also know you can select neutral whilst driving? Funny thing huh?

    Um..point missed here.....loooool....if the cable snapped...wouldn't it release the control on the throttle???? Does on mine..........
