Hood Cable Loose.

Ok my hood cable hasnt been tightened yet and someone shut my hood and now i cannot open it. Ive tried taking the cable off at the T-Lever and pulling it with a pair of pliers but no luck. I Also removed my grill to see if i could get into it from underneith but couldnt. Is there another way im not thinking of?

you have to get in behind the grill and do it. I was stuck on the side of the road for a fair while. and its a royal pain in the arse to do it but can be done. You will have to push the lever that the cable pulls with a screw driver, is a pain to do but can be done.

Well when you finally do get it open (agree with the grill method above), you'll need a right-angled screwdriver to adjust the part where the cable sits on the radiator support to adjust it.
