Aftermarket digital speedo

Hey guys, have a vl with different diff, gearbox, rims etc and its stuffing up my speedo. The car also came without a tacho and installing a calais tacho that actually works is proving to be a royal pain!

Anyone installed an aftermarket digital speedo into a vl? How much, where from and does it do the trick??

Not chasing something that mounts into the dash as such, an lcd panel or something with a speed reading would be ideal.

The calais dash is a easy mod mate, why are you having trouble??

as for a speedo, get a gps

or you can buy an autometer speedo gauge, but most likely still wont fix the problem

Calais dash will go in no prob, have stuffed the speed sender cable behind the unit and cant be bothered replacing it if it does stuff all anyway.

Reason that any plug in speedo doesnt work correctly is due to aftermarket gearbox, diff and rims throwing out the calibration. Starting to sound like a GPS unit would be the best bet.

Yeah thats all we use mate, is the gps. Works great and dont get done for speeding! win win as you can find your way there easier too

Also some aftermarket rear park assist things will have built in digital spead displays
