Default WARNING: Check your Ign. barrels

Self explanatory, really. We all know VL's are old cars, and with normal use, the barrels and locks will wear out, not to mention if they've been tampered with in an attempted theft before.

So, it was no real surprise that I could get my barrel to crank/fire the engine with a few seconds of jiggling and with NO KEY INSERTED. I know of many VL's where you can take the key out with the engine running, and it's probably those ones that will also fire without a key.

Just a general warning, we all know how easy it is to pop the locks on a VL, and if your barrel is farked, without an immobilizer or killswitch(es) would be thieves could take your pride and joy in 30 seconds flat.

Great, I'm sure they can. So why make it any easier for them?

wasnt having a go at you, but thieves dont care how much damage they do to get a car so good or bad lock dosent matter unless it annoys the owner..
