    Default what do you think???

    ok im in a situation where i can get a vl berlina for cheap as chips and im gonna get my cams licence soon and do some hillclimbs but being a stock vl it would probly shit itself trying to get up a hill hahaha this one is completely stock to the bone and i wanted to get some ideas to see if i could get this thing to put a good time on the clock if not ill probly buy somthing els and im not up for spending massive amouts of money so any questions feel free to ask

    If you're not up to spending money, what the hell are you going to do?

    To get anything into a cams sanctioned even you're going to have to spend money on it.

    theres diffrent power classs my mats dose cams racing and he uses a bloody ford laser
    i was atully thinking of useing a vs or maby somthing els with a V6 not sure yet thats y im trying to get ideas if its worth geting this vl or not

    A VS wont be any better then a VL.

    You'll have to fit a roll cage at minimum. There's $1500-2000.

    Yeah mate go a V6 something like a VN/VP/VR, get them cheap as chips and they go alright,

    He didn't say he wouldn't spend any money on it; Just not massive amounts.

    how so mate vs would have more power n torque if i was to lower it and run strut braces it would be alrite there wouldnt be much body roll plus its a hillclimb

    i only added that cause u said id have to have a rollcage if it was downhill i wouldnt atempt it haha

    Having competed in Australian and Qld hill climb championships I can assure you that a roll cage is not necessary. Roll cages are not required in one car at a time speed events. You will need to be a member of a CAMS affiliated car club and you will need a level 2S license which only requires you to fill out the form and pay your money.
