" Behold the turtle. He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out "
mite have been used for a taxi or sumfin back in the day.
It is possible, it might have also had a few recon/replacement engines too.
Rollin Rollin Rollin
Yeah, and even the dashes fail and tick over thousands at a time....
hee hee my toranas got 600 on it. yep kms one of the few metric ive seen. 600 thou aint bad
No, it's impossible for a VL to go that far![]()
lol mabe someone stuck it up on some jacks and put a brick on the peddal(like in Ferris Beuller's Day Off) but had it in drive.... well thats my two bob
Ferris Beaullers day off kicked ass.. Got that on pc haha
not as uncommon as you might think.I've seen 800,000 on a gold exec, the motor outlasted the paint.
My last VL had 700,000 or near there and came to its end via a toyota celica up the bumb at 70kph, it was on the 3rd motor and I put 2 gear boxs in it. I bought it at 400,000 in 1997 i wanted to keep for till 999,999 but wasn't to be the odomitor broke a few years back but a friend of mine fixed it some how.
1.1million no prob still going strong 2 gearboxes though manual
Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.
Powered By Garrett
put up a pic of that one burnz
i rate any vl that can make it past 150,000
P.O.S lol!
Mine is just about to turn 200,000! One engine and gearbox. Should have a party for it!
its highly possible. vl speedos play up at bout 180 000 ks, i just replaced mine when i took it out it had 449 000 ks. but i actually done about 500ks so its highly possible
got nearly 300 000 on mine. its happy!
I didn't even look at the cluster in my new vl. The engine had been switched over from turbo to n/a as its an ex donor car. And now I'll be putting in a new motor aswell. So I'm contemplating getting the cluster wound back to 0...
New clusters on 180. I know it should stay on whatever the original cluster is, to resemble how many km's the car has travelled. But its nearly all going to be new anyway. The only thing thats original in it will be the body itself and the wiring. Engine/ Gearbox, Tailshaft, Diff, Brakes, Interior, Paint, Headlights, Taillights, Garnish, Moulds and Trims are all being replaced.
So I'm going back to 0 when I get my new motor.
