    Default VL Not Starting

    Hey guys,
my bro in law has an 1988 vl which i sold him, it was running before i gave it to him but it ran outta fuel. we have put fuel in it and it won't start take the fuel line off and turn the ignition and it slowly trickles fuel out of the fuel line, should it actually piss out?

    any help would be great

    cheers

blocked filter?? when it ran out of fuel it couldve sucked in some contaminent from the bottom of the tank. and it could also possibly be in your fuel pump or the lines. try change the filter and while the hose is off see how much comes out there. if it pisses out its either filter or lines so you should be able to work from that. hope it helps

have u got the leads right from the dizzy to cylinders?? looking at motor it is inline front = 1 - 6(at firewall) numbers are marked on the dizzy cup.
    Easy mistake to make.
