just wondering if anyone knows what the difference in the rb30 head is? (as in number wise)
my old head has 672 then 1 under that and the new head has 672 then 3 under that and then L under the 3? does anybody know what this means?

probably just stamped at factory to determine something dont really know...
Turbo head is same as NA head though only the cam is different with the lobes are slightly different to allow more exhaust to turbo and intake etc. 5degrees or something.

ok sweet. do you know if the lifters have to go in a certain way as when i was changing over the cam and rockers a couple of the lifters cameout and i just put them back in there where i thought they might go. they have a little hole in the side of them obviously to let the oil threw but no idea?
