Have any of you guys used or even seen in person one of those eBay fiberglass calais aprons? I was thinking of getting one for my wagon but I'm just not sure if they are ok or dodge. I asume it would need some bracing at least.
Any thorts?
i would think they would be alright man..
What they askin for $$$$
Well they are only about 170 bucks. And it's from a body kit shop in melbourne
mate ill recommend something. go to Carmate - Australia's Biggest Bodykit Supplier - bodykits aero kits spoiler bodykit and much more carbon body kit spoilers and check them out they have them, but abit more expensive ur looking at $300 but they will normally give you a warrenty![]()
if its from a shop then it'll probly be alright. for 170 bucks it sounds awesome, especialy if it's just to neaten up he car a bit.
have you got a link for it?
i got a link. i had a few details wrong. it is actually from queensland and its 190 not 170.

he has very good feedback about the quality of his items and service E.G. "if we were in jail, i would protect this guy from big bubba sodomizing him.", How could you go wrong.
Nobody wants to play with me
I just gave his company a call. He seemed very knowledgeable about his products (im after only the passenger side end piece)
I might be popping in to see his store some time soon. If i do i'll ask about the calais front and see if it looks alright![]()
Ok that would be good to hear if it's any good. I'm very tempted to get one.

Oh ok. Well I recon I could fix rattles and brace it. Did it look ok and fit up right?
Missus had one on her VL v8...... she hated it. it didn't fit up properly and didn't sit right. I don't know whether it had something to do with the fact that the car had a prang in the front end or not, most likely and the previous owner wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed I don't think he fitted it properly. Obviously nothing is goin to beat an original calais front however as well all no they are as rare as hens teeth and even then are very costly. All i can really say is do ur research on the fibreglass fronts off ebay. Some may look great and they have great feedback but they can be really thin and flimsy and require a lot of modification. Just make sure you do ur research
Have got some on mine and it looks awesome !
Tried to get a look at them the other day but the were shut.
Will see if I can post some pics of mine, was fitted by a professional and was modified a little bit to make them fit but they did really well with them.
Sweet, it would be good to see some pics. Did u get urs from the same bidy kit shop that is on eBay now?
Yehh it looked fine and fitted fine
