Hi All, I'm new to modifying and loving it, I have a VL 3ltr, 5 speed totally factory, well actually worse than factory, my query is I have brought new V8 290mm front slotted and dimpled brake rotors, now I am wanting to use a twin pistion front caliper, but not wanting to make the VT front conversion, I have had people say I could use front twin pistion calipers from a VT to VY and they are a straight bolt on fit, but they don't know anyone who has done this to their car, is this true, any advice, help before I commit my hard earned cash to calipers that may not be as simple as a straight bolt on, once the front is taken care of I will be fitting up the VL V8 LSD I picked up, currently getting a rebuild, rear will be keeping factory size discs and calipers, probally will just do a rotor and pad upgrade.
not a straight bolt on u need adapter hubs to suit
while ur at it get new front bearings and greese.
