I have this quote from pedders.
GSR cartridge -2 $193
Sports ryder coil spring (front) -2 $179
Bump stop and boot kit -2 $87
Gas sports syder -2 $254
Sports ryder coil spring -2 (rear) $179
fitting -1 $253
Front wheel alingment -1 $66
It totals $1404 to lower my VL Calais. Has any one else had this done through pedders? I would like to hear your experiences/ oppinions with pedders suspension and other brands, suspension setup you have in your VL and if pedders is asking to much for the work.
Thanks in advance.

VK VL COMMODORE U/LOW KING SPRINGS & MONROE GT SHOCKS (eBay item 330490605769 end time 29-Nov-10 19:54:24 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats
This seems like a reasonable price. what do others think?
what state are you in?
Hahah pedders. Good suspension shops are hard to come by, but I can recommend these guys Tyres, Wheels, Rims, Brakes & Suspension: JAXQuickfit Tyres
The store in geelong is fantastic, great prices and awesome staff. Really impressed, also they actually reply to the email form so you can get quotes online.
Depending on how low you're going shortened shocks/struts aren't "essential" to lowering the car, they will make the ride better obviously but not always necessary. Just buy some king springs and get them put in, and a wheel alignment done. See how you go with that if you want better ride quality then get shortened shocks/struts.

ill second that. i have always used Jax Quickfit up here in Qld, and have always been looked after and polite customer service.
the reason i got the shortened shocks is cause my king springs are ssl and fall out of the seats everytime i hit a pothole then i had to spend half the day trying to find another pothole to pop them back in lol
or a jack and pop them back in.. :P mine fall out when i get my tires done Lol car gets jacked up on hoist and "boing"
Surprised the Pedders guy's didn't say your car was unroadworthy and tried to stop you from taking the car.
Pfffff... All Pedders stores are rip offs, run away.
