hey got a vl 6cly can i hook up a small turbo and run small boost to practicaly a stock rb30?
This has been covered many times man please do a search.
And yes u can. Go the stock VLT setup remember it is a high compression setup though not a low compression setup so be smart about it.. can get it cheap as now off ebay, follow this thread as well on information Rb30e to Rb30et (Highcomp)
Goodluck.
many people run the standard turbo set up on the standard RB30 motor around the 8-10psi should be ok with a intercooler tho. But it also depens on how you drive. Just remember its a standard motor not a RB30T motor.

Can be done on low boost max 8psi. You can also buy decompression plates which will lower the compression
I have seen the decompression plates on ebay fairly cheap also
days of decomp plates and 7th injectors are days of the past qouted from some one else here.
i wouldnt call stock setups cheap in excess of $1000+ for a full setup many people try palm of bitsa here bitsa there.
does any one know if n/a ecu and n/a injectors can be used?nackerz?i cant remember
search
8 psi max... your kidding yourself.
and yes decomp plates and extra injectors... leave those ideas where they belong, in the 1990's
but please search this has been done to death
Yeh u can use n/a injectors/ecu on stock 6psi.
