    Default springs.. vl

hi guys, gettn 4 new tyres in the next week... n before it all happens i wanna get new springs in there (non chopped ones).. i need 4 and an adj.panhard rod.

does anyone know the rough retail price n wot i should go for in the vl?
the front bar is low (grp A)... but the rear isn't so low (LE rear bar).
ppl are suggesting low/super low king springs, wots the diff? so many questions! lol
could i do the fronts or rears myself?

needa do it before the wheel alignment n all that.

low/ superlow is just a measurement of how low it drops the car down too.

you could do both yourself, but rears are alot easier apparently. ebay has very cheap springs..alot of cheap stuff around.

glad to hear your getting new tyres pal. will look much better.
do the springs yourself. youll need to grab a good socket set and some spring compressors. backs simply compress and pull out, compress new ones (if you need to) and put them in - unwind the tool and put the car back down.
fronts are a bot more work. youll have to remove the whole strut unit, with the springs compressed then whip out the springs and put yout newies in.
if you just go the lows youll be right with the shocks you have, if you go the superlows you might have to replace the springs or the ride might suffer.
i dare say with the bar you have superlows are too low anyway. lows will look fine.
youll get away without putting an adjustable rod up its arse if you stick to the lows (depending on how your rear end sits as it is i guess too)

your right in getting it all done before getting hte new tyres aligned as the front will need to be checked after youve had the struts out.
