Where does this hose go???

Hi everyone, im just wondering if anyone can tell me where this hose (in pics) is ment to goto?
My VL is running ruff like its missing or something. in neutral it idles fine but reving it slightly and it almost conks out. ive checked all the basic things (plugs, leads, injectors etc) and that hasn't solved it. i found this hose and i have blocked it off for now which has made the car run a little better, but i really want to know where its ment to go. Any help is appreciated. Cheers Paul.

That hose goes to your canister man.

Also them leads look screwed! I would replace them. Number 6 looks really bad and will be getting very weak spark to the plug.
