Oil press with modded bottom end

G'day, my bottom end clearances are larger than standard. 2.5 thou on the Mains and 2.75 on the conrods. Oil feed holes have been opened up to 7mm. With the standard 80psi oil pump press, Will the press drop much due to the larger clearances? Cheers.

as in .0025mm? anyway there will be a drop due to less constriction

you would need to talk to an engine reconditioner to find out if there will still be enough pressure to get oil to the rest of the motor
as you know when bottom end clearances die the oil pressure drops to next to nothing
would at least recomend you get an oil pressure gauge fitted so you know its not 0psi!~

Yeh a gauge is a must, and I'm fitting a nitto adj press oil pump. I'm hoping these specs r a good thing. They Should be, as they came from Kyle(6boost), and he seems to know his s**t.
