i was curious to know how much vl 304 pursuit's (ex cop-car) go for word of mouth is, there's only 15 left in australia, i was wanting to know how much i could get for mine its had over $20,000 spent on motor

Just because something has had 'over 20 grand spent on the engine' doesn't mean you automatically add that to the value.
In fact, some cars that are in themselves quite rare lose value if they have been played with.

As others had mentioned there are plenty of them around although you do have to hunt around a bit these days. As for your car being worth??? Depends entirely on what it actually is and it's condition. Pics would help a lot. I'd suggest somewhere between $3,000 and $10,000 (probably closer to the $3k end)

Both ,, I have a BT1 turbo rb30 sitting in my Garage, it is original, did work out of Horsham in Vic, in 88 and I bought it of the cops

I know in S.A. they trialed them but most here were the 304. I'm don't know about other states.

We have one in our shed too, manual 304, it's destined to become a burnout car. Paid the princely sum of $1700. Calais upgrade with a genuine HDT Group A body kit.
