    Default drum and disc axal

    hey i was wondering i anyone could help me out

    i was wondering if the axal of the drum was the same as the disc axal.
    and you could just swap the drum for the disc with out geting a hole new axal
    can anyone help if they can understand what im trying to say.

    The swap is easy enough, but you will need to change the handbrake cable as well. This also is a piece of piss. Take the time to install some nice red Nolothane bushes if and when you do it to make the whole setup nice and tight.

    arent nolothane bushes meant to be really shit! like really hard and not the best quality??

    i have already got the conversion done but i have bent the axal from hiting the curve and now i cant find a disc axal so i was wondering if i could put the drum axal in.

    I don't know where you heard that, a rice forum perhaps? They are hard because they are urethane not rubber, and this is the idea - as it tightens the suspension and feel of the car. They are awesome, trust me.

    ok well thats good to hear! cause i found out about that after i boiught mine! thanx for the correction! now i dont feel so shit about buying the wrong ones!

    best to pull the bent axle out and compare the length of it to your old drum one(if you still have it!)

    yeah i dont have the old one but i can pick one up from the wreckers for $22 so i tought that i would find out if it would be as simple as swaping the axels over or of they were different. but thanks good idea anyway
