I have a thing when the tank is under qaurter its gargels.. Sounding like sucking air.. Um also very little niggle.. when intercator is left its alright and clicks off when wheel goes back straight.. But when right it doesnt click off.. Just a little niggle.. But be fun to do something to fix the shiz..
sounds like u need a new spring or auto return or whatever it is on the vl ...
vn's use a plastic disc around the coloumn with a little tab on it as an auto return .. maybe its something similair on a vl
vls have a springs behind the steering wheel 1 purple 1 one green (from memory ) one of them has broken hardest part of repair is removing steering wheel
the noise in ya tank is the fuel return line it is sticking up instead of down
my vl wagon was like it when i got it use to echo in the back and annoy the sh#$ out of me changed fuel pumps 1 year later and it went
An aftermarket wheel will do the same to the indicator cancellation..
aghh welll steering wheel been taking off isnt really that hard!!
me the stoopid ass 16 now 17 yr old did it last year!!
just get a flat bit of steel! drill 2 holes correct distance apart to the 2 behind the horn!! and then get to screws that fit into them and i think there metric thread... i think!! cant member exactly!! screw them in evenly and it will eventully pull your steering wheel off due to it been push against the peice of metal in the middle... i also think there is this like tin nut around the middle peice of metal!
ummm the blinker can be fixed by!! (i did it but im not hundred percent how i did it)
i think i either squashed the spring so it was tighter!! or i shave the little bump things down a tiny bit that it click over!! just have a look at it and try it all!! u will see how it works its quite simple....
I CANT WALK ON WATER BUT I CAN STUMBLE ON ALCOHOL
ive got an Autotechnica woodgrain steering wheel on mine and the indicator click off thing doesnt work on that either. But i did notice when i took the old one off it had squared off teeth round the inside which i presume is what makes it do it. Another prob i had was with the horn as the original used a contact plate, but it would be easy to wire it up some other way when i get a chance. it was a bit off a mish to pull the old one off put i managed it with just alot of yanking. They do bend pretty easy too so watch out for that!
