vl project
hey guys i am currently trying to draw up designs for new project.. i have vl that i want to turn into topless ratrod.. anyone got any ideas or give me advice.

what kind of ratrod look are you going for?
I don't think it would turn out nearly as good as you think
and topless cars require ALOT of engineering to be legal

Do you plan on registering it? Or show only?
If show only, grab a 9" grinder and get stuck into it!
Weld all the doors shut, run some RHS down the tops of the doors and all the way around the back for a little strength, paint either a matt colour, or red oxide/ochre primer, and enjoy the "rat rodders" life

nah not for street use.. except the occasional run to the deli..i was thinking shortening the body via taking strip out of the middle of the car. and joining the front part of front door to the back section of back door..moving firewall back and and then i will be driving from the back seat and have the boot fold out for an extra 2 seats in the boot.. was thinking of going a ls1 but thinking twice as need different sump i believe.. also thinking just slapping carbied 350 chev into her...
