Ebay ball joints and tie rod ends quality vs value??

Hi my vl wagon desperately needs ball joints, tie rod ends and shocks/springs to have any chance of passing an upcoming roadworthy.

I have started looking around and it seems that ebay has some good deals on ball joints and tie rod ends. Some being offered together as a package for around $70 delivered. Most have only a 1 year/20,000km warranty. the more expensive being a 3year warranty.

What i would like to know is if anyone here knows the quality of these packages or where they are usually made as safety isnt something i want to F around with.. I want to buy some but i dont want to pay the extra for the more expensive ones if they are no better quality than their cheaper counterparts and still made in china or where ever anyway.
Any feedback on these would be much appreciated. (or if you know anywhere other than ebay to get a good deal) preferably in brisbane.

I also want to replace the shocks and springs at the same time.
Theres a package on ebay which is a set of king springs super lows front and rear and monroe lowered gt gas shocks and struts to suit for around $600 delivered. Does anyone think this is good value and suited to a car thats just a daily/cruising car? Or is there someone doing a better package for the same sort of money elsewhere?

You're better off getting King Springs from Autobarn or Repco.. That way you know they are legitimate. I'd never buy ebay suspension... So many counterfeits out nowadays..... Anywho, there's only so much holding your car up from the road. Only so much protecting you from life and death.

go to a reputable dealer man... don't trust ebay with stuff like that.. especially critical parts on your car just don't know for sure where they are manufactured and if they meet specs.. which if something breaks it could cost your life or somebody else s...
