just a quick question. Is converting my vl V8 wagon 2 dedicated gas with the propper gas carbie and stuff worth it? do i gain any more power or loose any? I do know it will be cheaper 2 run. Also does any1 know how much i will be looking at 4 the whole lot (tank primer ect ect)

depends how much you want to spend whether it be gas research or something like impco. Also depends on how much power the wagz has (or is it stock) because after a certain point im pretty sure you would need twin converters. Also depends if you can get the rebate (which isnt a problem if you havent claimed the rebate on anything else in the last 5 years). As for power, my vlt is on a dedicated gas research system and it pulls 246rwhp and 550.8nm on its current 8psi run in tune so gas isnt really that bad.
i would say i would need 2 go twin converters at some stage as im paying off a 355 stroker kit as we speak but its not gonna get done till ive striped the car and fixed everything up. The wagon already has upgraded cam and rockers done by previous owner but they are coming out 4 the kit. Main reason im going gas is cause i need room under my car 4 a full twin exhaust system![]()
