Check for a kill switch,my mate got a new car and wasnt told about the switch just above the peddles. He got drunk and slept in his car, next morning car wouldnt start and it cost him like $160 for the NRMA to come out and tell him he'd kicked the kill switch.Another thing,if the car was sitting around for a bit, there could be a heap of crap in the fuel pump,i just gave mine a good bashing then it worked but make sure its not working first

Should still crank if its a fuel issue.

Dodgy ignition switch, dead flat battery, dodgy battery connection. Or a dead starter. Maybe some links or something. Or a kill switch too of course, but you tend to know about these things, haha.

My bad about the fuel pump,i should of known better but as for the kill switch he just got this VL so its possible he wasnt told about it if there is one,no harm in checking
