hi guys im just wondering if anyone here has a vl turbo running strait gas, and if they have had problems with back firing and what they do to get around it, im still building up my turbo motor.
cheers
ive been running straight gas on the vlt since i bought it, ive never had a backfire but the gas research throttle body covers your arse with a cooler, just in case.
Ok cool, how does the throttle body keep it safe? I am going to be running gas research too. How much boost are you running and what RWKW? Im just curiouse on what to expect out of mine.
i could be wrong but i think the main difference is that they are designed to flow the gas into the manifold side of the butterfly in the throttle body rather then just flowing into your cooler piping. its on its crappy 8psi run in tune and its 246rwhp and 550.8nM of torque at the rears with a built motor.
