    ive done this.

    you need a v8 k frame.
the t5 crossmember fits you just have to re drill the mounting holes on xmember
tail shaft will be t5 front half bolted to vl rear half
you need vb-vl v8 pedals vn and vl pedals dont fit[i have vh v8 manual pedals you can buy]

cheers mate what can you do the pedals for??
also i found this info is this basicly every thing to know??

    To convert a vl 3litre to 304 v8

*vl or vn v8 k frame needed
*vl or vn v8 gear box cross member needed
*vl non power steering rack or a vn v8 power steering rack(to make the headers fit in and for ample starter motor clearance)
    *vl-vs v8 radiator needed
    *vn v8 accelerator cable needed
*custom the tail shaft you’re self-front half vn v8-rear half vl v8 or turbo only.
    *vb-vl v8 pedals needed

Auto electrician will charge roughly $400 to wire the engine up

Vl disc brake rear end will be ok as well as the master cylinder and front brakes,
The fuel pump will also be fine because the car is already injected.

If going automatic you will need to bash the tunnel abit depending on what box you go with.

    Don't you need a vk-vl k8 frame and not vl-vn v8 k frame.

A mate told me that ^^^^ is he right ?
