VL on gas wont start hot pump fuse

I just bought a VL Berlina on gas, its the worst YET (GAS)
He said it is all sweet 1 button change over, it has a podie on it..
He pressed the button and changed over no probs, (petrol was on red)
He said 1 of the injectors is buggered and gave me a fuel rail...

The fuel pump fuses just blow up.
I thought Id Try it on Petrol again... nup chugga chugg ect
I was sussin it out, they just blew up, I went threw heaps.
Straight away when you turn the Key, Like 3secs

Then in Melbourne 3 days ago I stopped for Gas and.....
Crap fail ignition, (Foot not down long enough when kicking over)
Nuthin, starter motor noise, not kicking over like its starved.. (on Gas)

I was there for AGES went through the whole servo's range FUSE'S!
Trying to maybe get a bit of petrol to to the motor to help the gas start?
*(5secs at a time coz they just blow up.) They ran out Sooo..
I looked around found some wire and a paperclip and made my own fuse!
The wire took about 5-6secs to GLOW RED HOT an i'd turn key off..
and repeat, again an again 6secs at a time of fuel pump action..
Can hear it when i turn key.... that melted an then the paperclip was fashioned..
4 Hours later of "priming" I finally preyed and turned the key overrr...
NOTHING!.. got a dude to jump me, nuthin! Sounded "starved"...
Battery ran out from me trying soo - $250 TOW TRUCK ride home for me >

So TODAY 3 days later I got my spare fuel pumps, rang auto elec dude, Tools,
Fuel lines, came out to my car, Jumpers on on it...
And lone behold it miraculously starts up! What the Hell. Prick it is.

Is it because of the long drive it wouldn't hot start? It was cold by the end of it.
Theres Oil Everywhere, Oil Pressure seems okay...
Injector failing, Pressure dropping?
Fuel Pumps/Filter?

But is that linked to the shit gas starts?
