Default to grazm re blinker wand pulling away

you must have been right, finally got around to removing s wheel, infuriatingly it was a new aftermarket unit, gently used that failed, the old wand failed where a spring that controls the headlight switch at end broke

I have an old replacement unit but cant be bothered to fit it yet

re springs in blinker unit, there are 2 wire springs that control self cancelling, different colors for each side, are or were still available from holden dealer

there are 2 flat springs that control movement of blinker arm, one holds arm in "on" position on either side, this is the inner spring and mine broke, I got a used one, but since it obviously can break, is a new one available anywhere?
