hi guys, i have a vl ECU that ive had in the shed for quite a while. i was told it had a vl turbo chip put into it or it was re programed, tho its not a factory turbo ECU.
is there anyway of finding out for sure?
do the turbo chips have different numbers to the standard chip?
any help would be much apreciated.

you can chip the ecu but it has to be soldered in and is most likely in a chip socket open the ecu up and you will find a 28 pin chip on there youll soon see if its factory soldered or not
