Hey was wanting to drop my vl for a long time.. cash is a prob so i have decided on just putting in lowered springs and thats it.. keeping original shocks and no panhard rod. Wat you guys think good idea or not??![]()
im looking at dropping the front on mine but i need them harder too, does the compression do that at all?
pistol compressing should do that. you have the same number of coils but with less spacing, therefore i would imagine the ride will be harder.
I was told at a auto shop hear in vic that compressing the springs keep the original soft ride. So if you dont want soft springs dont get them compressed.
really? ahh well i nearly failed physics anyway lol.
sweet ive booked it in for wednesday, cheaper than buyin new ones! just one more question i really should have asked while i was there but does it stuff the shocks or anything else after a period of time?
you only need to get one set of shocks as one set is the same.
how much would you consider to be a fair price for a set of lowered king springs and new shocks to suit?
Hey I got the spings in my torana compressed and they weren't soft LOL thing used to handle like a go cart (with the michelin pilots) and used to sit flat through the corners (not much body roll)
I will be getting mine done when I score the adjustable panhard
