    Default Lowered springs only good idea??

    Hey was wanting to drop my vl for a long time.. cash is a prob so i have decided on just putting in lowered springs and thats it.. keeping original shocks and no panhard rod. Wat you guys think good idea or not??

    Just go to the tyre place and get them compressed (the springs) its cheaper than buying a set of springs Just go 1 inch tho coz it will sag more over time

    im looking at dropping the front on mine but i need them harder too, does the compression do that at all?

    pistol compressing should do that. you have the same number of coils but with less spacing, therefore i would imagine the ride will be harder.

    I was told at a auto shop hear in vic that compressing the springs keep the original soft ride. So if you dont want soft springs dont get them compressed.

    sweet ive booked it in for wednesday, cheaper than buyin new ones! just one more question i really should have asked while i was there but does it stuff the shocks or anything else after a period of time?

    how much would you consider to be a fair price for a set of lowered king springs and new shocks to suit?

    Hey I got the spings in my torana compressed and they weren't soft LOL thing used to handle like a go cart (with the michelin pilots) and used to sit flat through the corners (not much body roll)
    I will be getting mine done when I score the adjustable panhard
