    Default welch plugs

    quick question, do i just bang in welch plugs? or is there some type of glue used? cheers

    Yeah you should use a sealant. Any kind if gasket glue or aviation glue will do. Just remember to use a socket the same size as the O/D of the plug. Not one that fits snug on the inside otherwise you could end up bending it out of shape.

    a good sealant is STAG.....

    but yeah second that use a socket the same size and carefully knock it in... depends on what ur doing if ur taking other pieces off the engine to be able to change it use your noggin and do all that u can get too.. as u know they r the same age/ corrosion level and will all eventually fail... so for piece of mind do it then :P
