Disabling Power Steering

hey guys just wanted to ask the question, that if could be a stupid question . never the less ill ask lol

if you disable the power steering pump and disconnect the lines from the rack. would it be the same as having manual steering or damage the rack making it useless, i ask this as im needing a rack and finding it hard to find a manual rack and the price are charging for them

NO! it will be heavy and then the rack will become useless.
manual racks are highly sought after and unfortunantly demand drives the price. most are used for race cars.

As above. If your in a car park and go to hook into a park you won't turn in quick enough it would be like a 3 point park lol.

I got mine for $50 from the wreckers for the Vn

Nuh VL-VS use the same rack mount points. Pre VL are different.
